This collection of photos is just a very small sample of the gates on the south end of the park from Fifth Avenue to Central Park West. The entire exhibit includes about 7500 gates over 23 miles of park land.

Wasn't this a wonderful time?!! Central Park was so beautiful with the Gates up? The park has such contrast and beauty in Winter and the color from the gates just made it spectacular!

Thanks, Hubert. I knew I could count on you to take great photos of the Gates. My husband and two of our friends are there now. I stayed home with the dogs and my broken ankle. I can almost experience it by looking at your gallery.

Oh, Hub, what a beautiful Valentine's Day gift! For two days I have said to myself that I wished to be in New York to see the opening of such promising beauty. And now, you have given me my own private showing. How I wish I could walk those paths and experience the wind on my face in vivid color --- just would like to be taken up in it all.
