Diamond # 4 pic 1
This is the cleanest accordion for it's age I've ever seen. I've been playing it just to loosen it up. Every time I play it, it gets better.

Bass reed selector indicator
While there are only two bass reed couplers, there is a unique connection inside that selects a one of two positions each time the coupler is activated. The combinations add up to the same as if there were five different couplers.

- Unique to Pancordion - flapper style reed selectors
There may be others, but I only know of one brand of accordion using this style of reed selectors, shifts, couplers, or whatever you want to call them.

Scandalli Showman
Here is a beautiful Scandalli Showman. By comparison to most accordion models there were not a lot of these made. It is a collectors item for sure. And what a beautiful sound it makes. The reeds were a better quality than their "standard" models It is tuned to A 444hz The bass has a low G instead of A or C. I did a mild restoration including replating of the Gold plated bits and pieces and new straps. Somebody had to have it more than me, but I did enjoy it while I had it!

Andys first, and one of his latest accordions.
The accordion on the right; the "Lira" was purchased for me by my Dad in 1961 or 1962. It still plays beautifully! The larger instrument on the left; the "G.Verde" is a recent aquisition and one I'm just having fun with. Many amazing tones from this one. Probably built in the late 40's or early 50's this is a large 4 reeder tuned like the ones you heard in the background of the old Western movies and romance movies of that time.
:: Accordions I have known and loved...or not. ::
All of these have found other homes of someone that was looking for something different or even for their first one.
