small to tiny pieces

One of the machines we have is a "Star" CNC swiss type lathe sometimes referred to as a "screw" machine. It is very useful in the manufacture of very small parts where the quantity is large. For example the order on the little brass ball seat with hex drive was 6,000 pieces. This would be considered a relatively small order but we have done smaller orders in the hundreds but the cost of setup starts to make the parts relatively more expensive. You have to look close but the smallest part there actually has threads on it (0-80). This is an unfinished part that still gets a hole through the head. I tried to size the picture so that everything appears actual size on an average monitor. In sizing it down I lost a lot of resolution on an already marginal picture so please don't look at this for the photography. The purpose of all the pictures in this gallery are to simply show different capabilities of my shop.
