Last Saturday was a foggy day here at the Oberland. It was near freezing with light frost on some areas of the pasture. I suppose we'll be cutting this Dahlia garden down and covering it with hay leaves and plastic. Some people dig them every year but we always cover them with something to keep the ground from freezing and keep them dry and they come back thicker and stronger every year.
