The original cost of this accordion in 1936 was $1,000! I just used an on-line inflation calculator...that 1,000 dollars in todays dollars (2007) is 14,438 dollars! How far we've come!!!

The craftsmanship on this accordion is amazing! Everything still works. I'm having the reeds re-waxed and new leathers installed. Some things don't age well. The reeds are hand made and sound amazing!
