Umbria is the green heart of Italy, more rugged and mountainous than Tuscany on the whole, but the lower valleys have also great historic towns such as Perugia, Orvieto and Spoleto. A few of these pictures were shot near Urbino, which is actually in Marche province on the border with Umbria.
