After 11 years my old shoes were really worn down and leaky. To my surprise they still make this model. Perhaps next time I'll do something crazy and unexpected and buy a completely different colour, say ... dark gray.

Toch zien je oude er nog goed uit, tenminste vergeleken bij mijn oude wandelschoenen (10 jaar)! ;-)

Awful when your old comfortable shoes finally give up. Hard to get another pair as good. They make a great subject for your picture.
