Shot this series one morning on my way to work. I saw the fog over the river and in an impulse hopped off the bus. The pictures were taken in the Amelisweerd area and along the Kromme Rijn river, east of Utrecht, the Netherlands

I like this series very much because of the mood it conveys. Perhaps no one else has commented on these photos because they are so quintessentially Dutch and therefore commonplace (to Dutch people that is). From my North American perspective, however, they are unusual and speak of tranquility, loneliness and the promise of a new day. A couple of them contain a little too much mist to be interesting but, on the whole, I like these photos best of all your galleries. In my untrained opinion, you have quite an eye for composition - congratulations.
