Impressions from the spectacular show La grande parade that the French Compagnie Off put up at the Deventer on Stilts Festival 2008. The Grande Parade is a spectacle that has been staged only a handful of times over the past years. It tells the story of a circus group and it megalomaniac director. The show travels a mile through the historic town center with all pump and circumstance including a steel wire elephant, an opera singer, a human canonball, giraffes and many more actors an attributes. In all, the show lasts two hours.
