Marya Claire was killed in a tragic fall during a cruise. Apparently she fell from a high deck during high seas and strong rains. We initally removed her pictures, although not required to, for a mourning period. Now, to celebrate her free spirit, soft touch, and quirkig sense of humor, we've returned her portfolio and expanded it. She shot here several times, and stayed a week at a time, always welcomed. Rest In Peace Marya, we will always think of you and smile.

Greg Knox of HGR Photography has shot with 90 models now, including 3 2010 Playboy Playmates of the Month ((Kassie Lyn Logsdon Miss May, Shanna Marie McLaughlin Miss July, and Ashley Hobbs Miss December), one 2004 Desert Playmate (Vallery N), and Greg has worked with 3 of Playboy's greatest photographers (Arny Freytag, Jarmo Pohjaniemi, and David Mecey) in a one on one workshop in Las Vegas. They have made their mark on society, and NOW, IT IS YOUR TURN TO MARK YOUR TERRITORY IN HISTORY.
I met Gary Cole (Director of Playboy International Photography Division since 1975) and sat down with him while he evaluated HGRP's portfolio .. comments were "you've been busy, and we'd like you to send us some pics of some of your hot models" ...Mr. Cole also had some helpful suggestions in shooting in the bamboo forest. Then I met with Jeff Cohan, also the director of Special Editions for PBI, and he's the man who sets up the PBI Casting Calls. He liked my portfolio too, and gave me some helpful suggestions in shooting with the Jail. HGR has taken his suggestions and we have added strobes for more special lights, as well as 48 colored light filters.
David Mecey was very nice to my roommate (also a model). Mr. Mecey is no longer with PBI (16 yrs. tenure) but is working independently with major publications. He also is the owner / chief instructor for Precision Driving School .. which is why he and my roommate became buddies ..? she loves to race cars. Finally, I was summoned by Mr. Cole for a job offer. Sadly, I made two to three times more on my own, but what a great opportunity and offer.

Amenities: HGR PHOTOGRAPHY IS ON A 10 ACRE RANCH WITH hayloft, stables, 2 donkeys and 1 horse (all friendly), medium size spring fed pond (constant fresh water), woodlands, bamboo area, 1100 sq. ft. of wood deck, master bedroom, bow flex, treadmill, boxing pedestal, studio with lights and assorted backdrops, wood shop, Cadillac Hearse, 4x4 ft. jail, restraint options in lots of places, two large thick fur rugs (black & white), BEAN exercise body bag, samurai swords, large rocking chair, a pole mounted cross, bubble machine, fogger machine, 2 4ft stuffed rattlesnakes, .... a larger lake about 100 yrs. off property, stream in the area, railroad tracks about 5-6 miles away, and more ....... You can use the modeling clothes too ..... about $4500 worth of Playboy stuff, I can no longer allow the clothes to leave the shooting environment ... many things have not been returned and I prefer not to buy stuff again .... I added 11 new western women's shirts/dresses. Alien Bee Lights, Assorted backdrops, ( brick, shower, plain white, black, blue/black, green, blue) ..... Nikon D80 10.6 megapixel and D5100 16 megapixel camera with multiple lenses, 7 radio controlled strobes, many 2g/4, 32 gig photo data cards, Adobe Photoshop Suite TWO, Kodak Digital Gem Photo program and I am a student member of the New York Institute of Photography School.

HGR is also a cat rescue and is available for rescue horses safe haven.

New Equipment: Equipment: Most exciting additions is Adobe CS5 Design, the new Nikon D5100 SLR 16 megapixel, and our 2nd Video High Definition Camera (replaces the 1993 model)... Photoshop CS5 MASTER SERIES DESIGN: omg it's the most powerful Photoshop ever made. It does 2D & 3D video from scratch to market release, it does comprehensive music writing, editing, and CD productions, it does website design from A to Z published, it does magazine layouts and magazine production, and it even does photoshop lol. We've also added our own binder machine to assemble calendars on the spot. The Intuous large editing tablet just came in. This allows a much better photo processing as opposed to a mouse we've used for 4 years. Finally, a computer screen calibrator was added. This will standardize the colors in our pictures, which were looking pretty odd on some other monitors around the country. Calendar binding machine, binders, large 55 HGTV with camera & laptop connections, and large format printer. A Panasonic Professional HIGH DEF Video camera is in use too. Music wise: 3 guitars (2 acoustical & 1 electric), keyboard, songwriting software, and of course CS5 Design's built-in Music Box for the music side of our expansion.
