Some places in the world inspire us so much that we end up looking at life with an unfamiliar but distinguished perspective. Kashmir is one such place. Persian poet Amir Khusru was absolutely right who referred Kashmir as a paradise on earth. I had been there few years ago and those memories are still fresh in my mind .Missing my Kashmir. Kashmir is beautiful which ever part you go and see. I have seen Siri Nagar Pahalgam Gulmurg when I was a kid in 1946. I have also seen Skardu Baltastan all part of Kashmir. It will not be too long that India can hold Kashmir by its brutal force. With so many suicides going on by the occupation forces. Thank you for putting these pictures.

This is Mohd Ijaz(ijaz_kashmir@hotmail.com)Really I don’t have words to saying for our Kashmir is very beautiful, no any country or any place for comparison with our Kashmir, I don’t know why does Kashmir cools our eyes, we should prey to God that grant us sources for build up factories and source of income, instead of consuming our lives and skills into a foreign countries. Necessary we should serve our lives for our Kashmir. I am here in Saudi Arabia since 2004 to till date but when I see any scene of my Kashmir I forget any thing either we are playing with the Gold or we are using Gold spoon for eating. I don’t know what are those feeling who are living in the Kashmir but this is my comments while sitting in Saudi and looking my Kashmir pictures and try to recognize peoples who are there in the pictures and saying those are lucky in their own Kashmir.

He has a very good collection in his repertoire and should keep continuing the good work to enrich and exhilirate all generations somehow connected with these areas . I am a resident of Mumbai but connected with Poonch as the place of my ancestors and my birth place in the city of Poonch on the Indian side.My father's childhood has been spent in Rawalakot in the Kopri Kuian area till partition forced him on the Indian side. He is 82 years old and has very fond memories of Rawalakot and the nicest of people in his neighbourhood. He almost daily relives and cherishes his happy childhood days in Rawalakot. He was very happy and nostalgic when I showed him the picture collections of Rawalakot by Gharib Hanif. I profusely thank Gharib Hanif for providing such nostalgic images thro which I also feel connected now. We would be also thankful if it would be possible for Mr. Gharib Hanif to post some pictures of Kopri Kuian area around Rawalakot. SANJIV SHARMA
