Mangla View Resort

This new development was started in 2006. The project, opened by Pres. Musharraf, is a joint venture between Pakistan and a Malaysian company. Located on the western edge of Mangla Dam, the resort will have a number of luxury houses as well as a golf course and a water sports club. Although the price of the houses is beyond mere mortals like us, the development should bring jobs and investment to the Mirpur area. Surprisingly, the address of this development is listed as Dina, Pakistan; but the location comes well within the territory of AJK; we'll reserve judgement on that for the moment.

its a wonderful place i have visited there for many times and enjoy a lot but the problem with this project is that its taking to much time .try to make control on the problems which are getting it late .

It's nice to see so many photographs of houses in Mirpur. These houses are in the city where I grew up, did schooling ... . A beautiful city with great people ... sadly missed while working and living abroad.

hi friendz i m the pioneer staff of this project and m proud to be.m not any more on this proj still missing a lot the every moment i spent there.i was the senior site supervisor and most of the construction supervise by me.

I have been here to see these houses. Its a nightmare to get here. The problem is that you have to drive past some army posts, so they check you before proceeding. In fact you have to go past 4-5 checkposts and you get checked head to toe at each point. Depending on the day and their mood they may let you through or not. What a place to build a resort!

If you are thinking about buying a villa here, think very carefully and take professional advice. The project has been dodged with delays and the project's website has gone awol. The houses are very expensive imo.
