Salam: Mirpur his the heart of Azad kashmir it his they say paradise i am britshi born but sayin his should never forget ur rouits. I have lived in mirpur fof 4 years from 1988 to 1992 i have seen mirpur develop its self. i lived in sector D1 not far from boat port (lancha na ada).also home village tangdew chaksawri. as from england we have made a sport with running BULLS which my brother kash enjoys doing every year.you cant beet Azad Kashmir. ilove hit CH.SAJID ALI.

Hey! I rememba this place too!!! Been too long that I havnt been there, so am glad to have discovered this website with the GREAT photos . Hats off to the people that played a big part in compiling this website, & thank you very much on behalf of me & the rest of the "Mirpuris" whop have visited this site. I lived in Mirpur for almost a year after I got married so naturally its a big part of my life, I ust wanted to say its a great place.

mirpur is good but needs to have basic roads and street lights and needs to become a tourist attraction for the punjabis.

Yay..I remember this park....(they do wiked pakoras) anymay its in my hometown Mirpur-which im missing loads!!!!!
