Chak Fort badly hit by earthquake of 2005 and has been collapse Partially, but after 7 years still in depletion condition even I have write a detail latter to Ajk Tourism Department to take immediate action to preserve it because this fort is the real heritage of Kashmir and identity of our Chak tribe as well and hope that AJK Tourism will take appropriate action to save it be maintained it well on regular basis
