This is the old courthouse (now in private use) near the center of town. This photo is 3000 x 2000 pixels at 96ppi, the resolution limit of Windows XP. The shot was taken from several miles away using a Nikon D50, a AF-S 300 f/2.8 (non-VR), a tripd, and a Kenko 2x Pro 300 telextender. The lens and telextender make a nice combination in my opinion. Contrast has to be increased, but sharpness is held pretty well. You can just about see the granular pattern of the courses of brick on the hall's facade.
