South Hadley, MA churches shot across the Connecticut River shortly after sunrise one clear autumn morning. Mist was rising off the river, and the birds were circling looking for food. The soft golden sunlight on the steeples and the gradations of contrast and intensity in the foliage make this one of my favorite photos.
