My 20 year old Jeep Cherokee that I am about to retire with 240k miles on it. And my new (used) Pontiac Vibe which I hope to hold until it is 20 as well (I will then be 87yrs and it will hardly matter).
Their commonality: small but efficient cargo space; 4-wheel drive. Otherwise, as different as night and day....well, at least as different as old and new(ish). The one is simple, direct, rough, nimble, and a fuel hog. The other: refined, complex, a bit more sluggish in power and handling, and 50% better fuel economy.
