Massive crowd, one of largest in memory, for this All-Beethoven concert that was to feature Leon Fleisher, who came up with tendinitus and did not play. The Alumni Office sold 160 tickets and could have sold more, plus we had another 20 or so walk-ins.

Mr. David White, a friend of Marybeth, Mary Kay Gray of he Conservatory, and Brad Hayes from the Development Office proved invaluable in helping us set up and tear down, and Dean David Stull and Trustee Joe Markoff graced us with their presence.

The weather gods smiled benignly on us, and this was probably the most perfect day we've had in the last five years.
