Welcome to the USS Savannah!

The independence-class littoral combat ship docked at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port on December 16, the first U.S. Navy ship visit to Cambodia in 8 years. The crew of the ship is here to engage with their Royal Cambodian Armed Forces counterparts on a goodwill visit that will boost U.S.-Cambodia coordination and response to shared maritime security challenges. Fast, agile, and mission-focused, littoral combat ships are designed to operate in near-shore environments and are also capable of open ocean operation.
