Phnom Penh’s ‘NKV’ Gang busted

Another lawbreaking group of louts – know as the NKV (Neak Voan) gang – have been stamped out by Phnom Penh Military Police

The louts were brought to justice at the corner of Street 13 and Street 130, Sangkat Phsar Kandal I, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh, at 3:20 AM on July 4. 2024.

They were arrested after being seem stealing motos and smoking in an illegal manner.

The crackdown is part of an operation under the leadership of General Sao Sokha, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, Lt. Gen. Rath Srang, Deputy Commander of the National Gendarmerie, Commander of the Phnom Penh Gendarmerie, assigned Lieutenant Colonel Sear Tin, Chief of Staff of the Phnom Penh Municipal Gendarmerie, who have instructed the specialized forces and forces of the 14 districts of the Royal Gendarmerie together to launch a ‘hot campaign’ to crack down on gangs in Phnom Penh, starting from June 21, 2024.
