It is located at Camp Schwab ... they made new land by filling in over the beautiful coral reef adjacent to the Camp. They also built a new joint base on the peaceful Ishigaki. I think the USA now has more than 1000 bases around the world. This can't end well.
Interesting. We used to live directly above Futenma Airbase, which was to be moved near Camp Hansen in the north of the island. Amazing that this is still going on.
