What fascinating landscapes. Rain - and you - bring the desert to life.
From the dates on your photos, it looks like late winter and early spring is wildflower time. Is this a reliable annual event or do the rains often fail.

Nice gallery. I hike each spring in your neck of the woods ( Or should I say cactus) Dropping down off San Jacinto down fuller ridge 8,000 ft. is always fun, till you get to Cabazon which is the armpit of SC..... Monte

Great Photos, you must have had a nice hike out. I found old pottery between Borrego and Mt.Laguna in a wash during one of my hikes out there....thaqt was exciting.
