This was one of the last farms in South St. Louis County to be broken up and parceled out for homes. I watched this final parcel with all of it's buildings getting closer and closer to its time. New homes were going up on the other parcels. I finally took time to stop and take these photographs. It was a winter day, and it had snowed the previous day. Lucky I stopped when I did. In two months, the buildings were all down. Enjoy.

The originals were all taken with my Canon A-1 with a Canon 35-105mm lens. I used TMAX 200 film. After scanning the negatives which were a bit flat and dark, I used Photoshop Elements brightness and contast adjustments to enhance the scans. In the chemical days I might have chosen a medium contrast enlarging paper, at lease for starters. Probably Ilford.
