Quite the opposite, it honors your Grandfather to show that Americans realize in war everyone needs to grieve and heal; both the winners and the losers. I doubt you would decry a memorial to all those who died on both sides at Gettysburg.

There should be no monument for the Japanese dead on Iwo it's a dishonor to my grandfather and all those others who have fought and died on the island.
