Galapagos Islands July 2007

Collection of photographs from two trips. The majority of the photographs came from the 10 day voyage on the Lobo del Mar III managed by GAP, an outstanding trip, great guide, great food, great crew, a photographer's paradise! The islands visited were Santa Cruz, Floreana, Espanola, Rabida, Bartolome, Santiago, Santa Fe and North Seymour.

The second part of our trip was a 7 day excursion on the dive boat the Galapagos Eco Explorer I. The Galapagos Eco Explorer I is a luxury catamaran, a very comfortable boat, very well appointed, with outstanding cuisine, outstanding service and an outstanding crew. The islands the ship anchored at for diving were Darwin, Wolf, Cousin's Rock off Santiago and for a land tour we anchored at Puerto Baquerizo Moreno San Crystobal.

Glad to see those lava pictures with the amazing textures. Some of them are definitely art. You also have a great imagination with the names. Good shooting.

Amazing pictures! I am sure you enjoyed the trip. The caves remind me of Phuket Island in Thailand. I would not have dared to go this close to a Whale Shark though!

Outstanding!! Congratulations on the whale shark, I know it was on your list. I must have copies of a few of your pics and will email you with the request. The pictures make carrying around all that equipment worth while (right Chantal?)
