The "Lange Jan" ("Long John") tower stands in the centre of Middelburg and is 90.5 meters tall.
It takes a while to climb to the top: 207 steps to be exact,
but the view makes it well worthwhile – especially on clear days.
If the weather is good you can see not only the whole of Walcheren from its top
but also parts of the surrounding islands of Zeeland.
