Today is called ‘Second Christmas Day’ in The Netherlands.
Humans in Germany, Poland, Scandinavia, and some other European countries also have two Christmas Days.
The second day is not as holy and formal as the First Christmas Day, but still…
In the UK and Australia this day is called ‘Boxing Day’. Many stores are open for special sales.
The Dutch like to have doubledates for their big holidays: they also have two days of Easter
and two days of Pentecost.
Anyway, the Second Christmas Day is a good day for visiting family and friends.
Here you see me with my grandhuman while he’s waving at some humans in a rowing boat on the river.
We brought my grandhuman some good food and some good books. He liked that.
I played with him but he gets tired quickly.
My human told me he’s about as old as a 15 year old greyhound. That’s pretty old!
Have a super Second Christmas Day everybody!
