Who won the Dutch elections? That is complicated.
Out of the ten parties that will govern our country, five won and five lost.
There were big winners both on the left wing and on the right wing.
The party of our prime minister human Jan Peter Balkenende, CDA, was among the losers
but it is still the biggest party in the country. So JP is going to stay.
But he’ll have to find new partners for his next government. Not an easy job for him…
The Animal Party (‘Partij voor de Dieren’) has won two seats in the Parliament!
From now on there’ll be a lot of human animal talk in Dutch politics.

I’m glad I wasn’t elected. Politics is a tough business, I much rather analyze.
