A walk. A street. A sound!
My humans heard nothing. They just strolled along, talking, ignoring the sound.
But I heard. I knew this was special. A noise I somehow recognized, from years ago.
I pulled my leash. My humans looked at me surprised. “What’s up Anna?”, they asked.
Up is good. It was up there. In that tree. Making that noise. I looked, sniffed, then I barked.
It kept itself hidden. Up there in that tree. My humans said: “come on Anna, let’s go”
I did the last thing I could think of. I jumped. High as I could. Used every muscle.
Nothing. Not high enough. My humans walked on. I had to follow.
Something was up there. Something important. Maybe it’s still there!
