World Animal Day today. Here we go!
This is how I like to start my day. A date with Wicked!
Running is a big thing for both of us. Wicked is pretty fast. Almost as fast as I am.
Oh I love to run!

Running used to be quite a different thing back in Spain.
In those old days they took me to a race track. Many dogs would be there.
A lot of barking and stressing going on. Humans acting nervous, placing bets, bragging.
Then they would put us in cages at the starting line. Then we would run.
There’d be whooping and yelling. But only the winners were good enough.
The rest of us were beaten up and kicked at. Big pains!

Running free here today on the beach of the lake is so much better. This is great!
Our bodies flying, ears flapping, muscles stretching, our humans in awe, cookies for everybody.
A galgo paradise!
