I was talking to my friend Leah the other day.
Leah was visiting with her human. That galga means a lot to me. We’re both from Spain, you know.
We came up here in the same bus last year, all the way from Sevilla. Leah was still a pup then.
Now she’s like a sistah to me, sort of.
I said: "Leah, Dutch humans are pretty nice to dogs but not to eachother. They never take it easy.
Always fussing and stressing. Just look how they drive their cars. They don’t seem happy.
They talk loud. They smell strange. They must have big worries. They are so uptight."
Leah said: "I’m not sure. My human can chill real cool. She’s a southern Dutch. They’re much more
relaxed. But you’re right: Dutch humans sure are different from Spanish humans. And I’m glad!".
I said: "But those Dutchies take themselves so seriously. Like they’re all scientists or something.
Or writers with a block. You know what they need? They need more dogs..!".
Ah.. it was great chatting with Leah. She’s grown into a real lady. I hope to see her again soon.
Have a super Sunday everybody!
