“Speak softly and carry a big stick”
The American human president Theodore Roosevelt said that more than a century ago.
He took the phrase from an African proverb.
The idea is that you need force to get your way if talks can’t get you what you want.
That’s human thinking! Conservative American humans love it especially.
We know where that thinking took them...
Dogs settle their matters in a different way. More straightforward. We don’t need a stick for this.
And usually nodogbody gets killed in the process.
But hey, there’ll be lots of time to talk politics later.
I have this stick now. It’s made out of cow hide. I love it.
And it’s all mine. You can’t have it. So don’t come speaking softly to me.
I’m gonna carry this stick till I chew it up!
Have a fab Friday!
