Joop's Dog Log - Thursday August 11 (Post)

Thank you all so much for your support. We had never realized Joop has touched so many friends.
Your kind words, thoughts, letters and emails have warmed us.

Now, Joop would have said: "this is enough grief, no more sorrow,
let all dogs and humans get on with it.
Just remember me as a good dog who did all he could."

Henk,
Groet,
Huub

Henk!
Just want to tell you how much I enjoy your wonderful photography which includes a very special touch, JOOP. So sorry that he is no longer with you, but his photos will keep him among us all out here in cyberspace. I hope that one day I will find myself a dog just as cute and with such an awesome personality as well. They say pets take after their owners, this explains why JOOP was so lovable and all we can do, is thank you again and again for sharing his life with us. God Bless You Always,

Henk,

I've visited this site for two years now. I realise I should be devastated at Joop's passing, and believe me, I'm sad, but I can't look at a single picture of him without smiling, even when I don't read the captions.
All the best to you, and I hope everyone finds their smile soon.
Cheers!

The whole family and many of our friends will miss your postings and Joop's philosophical meanderings - I had introduced him to so many people. It's all been said during the last few days, what else is there to say? Thinking of you and your family. Chris, Max et al.

It will take a while, but you will feel better. It took me a LONG time to stop crying over my cat I had to put down 3 years ago. (Well, I still cry if I thionk about it too much) BUT, I adored him and the memories are all happy. Lucky for you you have all these gorgeous images of Joop as well!
