Meet Loena from Leek!
Sometimes total strangers ask my human: where can I buy a Joop dog?
I pretend I don`t hear things like that. Humans can be so rude..!
Fact is that I`m a Boerenbox (a Farmer`s Fox). That is not an official breed,
but it is what they call dogs like me. There`s a bit of the Fox Terrier in my blood,
and a combination of other small and midsize dogs.
Us Boerenfoxes are common in the Northeast of The Netherlands.
I often meet other dogs here that look like me.
The other day in the town of Leek I met Loena.
She was tied to a post in front of a store while her humans were shopping.
We sniffed and pawed. She looked nice. Good health, nice coat.
We could have made a fine pair...
