Joop's Dog Log - Wednesday August 04

Joop in Norway 15

My biggest hike in Norway was climbing up to the Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) near Stavanger.
Dogs are allowed on the Preikestolen trail but they have to be on a leash at all times.
Well, we tried that.
The weather was fine and the Preikestolen rock was something else.
We went up there in less than two hours, and took our time going back down.
For a dog like me climbing up on big boulders is easier than decending.
I felt like a true hiker. Hey, this was my very first mountain!

My human posted the big pictures of my hike here:

Good memories. Seeing them makes me feel like a world traveler!

But oh boy, I was really really tired!

This picture is priceless. A wall-hanger. Shots like these make me reconsider visiting Europe.
