Bundles of broomcorn sit inside a window of the East Family Brethren's Shop in Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, Ky.,
near Harrodsburg. The broomcorn is used for the bristles of the handmade brooms made by artisans and sold in
the Shaker Village gift shop. A second window image from Shaker Village is below. Many structures in the village,
a National Historic Landmark, have been restored and are used as an inn for lodging. Additional images from
Shaker Village are in my Shaker Village gallery.
