Scaffolding is erected around the bow of "Cupid's Span," an outdoor sculpture by Claes Oldenburg
and Coosje van Bruggen located along the Embarcadero in San Francisco. The 60-foot-high sculpture,
representing a bow and arrow shooting down into a small pedestrian park, has incurred damage
since it was installed in 2002 and is being repaired. A second image of "Cupid's Span," shot in 2005,
