Red Alert (5) and jockey John Velazquez, and Rogue Scholar (1) and jockey Jamie Theriot midway down the stretch in the
fifth race on the opening day of the spring meet at Keeneland in Lexington, Ky. Japengo surged near the finish line
to win the seven-furlong race, with Skippy Due second and Red Alert third. Rogue Scholar finished fourth.
