The building housing the Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C., is an elevated drum-shaped
structure surrounded by -- and hovering over -- a sculpture garden and plaza. In the middle of the plaza beneath
the building is a round reflecting pool that echoes the circular structure above. Additional images from Washington
