Resting Woodpecker

A Red-bellied Woodpecker rests on the side of a tree in Sharon Woods Metro Park
near Columbus, Ohio. The Woodpecker landed in a spot that was sheltered from the
icy wind on a cold December morning and remained almost motionless for more than 15 minutes.
