Boathouse Row, a historic site consisting of a row of 15 boathouses used by social and rowing clubs
and their racing shells, is on the east bank of the Schuylkill River, just north of the Fairmount Water Works
and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. In the foreground is an observation area behind Fairmount Water Works.
