German-American Day at CSP, Stone Bank WI last August. GA day is an annual celebration of the Wis. Fedration of GA societies. Carl Schurz Park is a private park, operated as a non-profit coop. Carl Schurz was a German immingrant who became a civil war general, a US senator & a secretary of the the interior, His wife started the first kindergarten in the US in Watertown, WI
