I made my (very long) way back to Wekerle today to take some pictures for an architectural firm that requires images of this housing estate, but focusing more on the plan of the site than the architecture. Many of the shots from today aren't what I would normally photograph, but hopefully they'll work for this other purpose.

Built between 1909 and 1926 with a uniquely Hungarian flavor, the Wekerle Estate was designed by students of famous Secessionist architect Ödön Lechner as better housing for local workers. Sixteen types of single family dwellings and apartment blocs extend over a large area, separated by tree-lined streets. It was originally called the Kispest Workers and Clerks Settlement and is located way out in the XIX district.
