A Fleeting Glimpse of Salzburg

We were driving back from Munich to Budapest and overnighted in Salzburg. Unfortunately, it was pouring when we arrived and pouring when we left (prematurely), but there were a few hours of light in the evening and threatening but rainless skies the next morning. These aren't my best effort as I was searching for things that were in a bit of light (not much), but I'd love to go back as it seems to be a truly charming city.

So many beautiful views of this city. We were there after the movie "The Sound of Music" had been released and we spent the time looking for those seen in the movie. Voted.

Beautiful pictures in spite of the rain. You must return for a sunny experience. The sun shone when we were there and we loved it all.
