Pannonhalma Arch Abbey

Pannonhalma Arch Abbey has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996, but there has been an abbey here since 1002, the year St, István brought Christianity to the Magyars. The abbey has burnt down and been rebuilt several times over the centuries and still today is a functioning Benedictine abbey.
