I was there as a dependant from '58 to the late 6os. I remember when the A&W was built, it was the busiest place on the island. None of the buildings shown here were there. Kubasaki high was just a short way down the road to the right, class of '67 btw . Great place and time to be a teenager.

Helen, I spent many a night traveling through this parking lot while a member of 62d MP Company, Camp Sukiran, from 1973 to 1974. Food was very good, tasted just like an A&W drive-in in the States!! My wife and I live initially at 684 Kiyuna then moved on base to Futenma Housing Area.
