American Falls, up close and personal

The sheer power of the falling water is simply unbelievable, both here and at Horseshoe Falls off in the distance.

It's actually Lake Ontario (lake America to the US!) that drops about 60 feet, and goes from Lake Ontario down to the St-Laurence river that eventually runs through to the ocean, passing by Montreal and Quebec City. There's a link between Chicago (through the great lakes) and the Atlantic ocean. Guess who controls all that! We call it the Strait of our Moose ... And it's so beautiful to see the falls up close, impressive.
