We went to the US Botanic Garden to see the “America’s State Flowers; America250 Celebration” exhibit, but there wasn’t a single state flower in bloom anywhere we looked, just a lot of flowerless plants. This was the one kind of flower we did see in the Conservatory, the golden shrimp (lollipop) plant, native to Peru.
