The lake at Constitution Gardens on the National Mall was drained several months ago for some type of restoration work, so we haven’t been there for quite a while. But we stopped by last weekend and were happy to see that it’s again been filled with water and has attracted some mallards. Hopefully there will be more returnees in time.
