We have a lot of irises in our backyard and out in the tree box on the street. This is my favorite, which I look forward to seeing every year. Unfortunately my iPhone has never captured the darker color accurately — it’s in reality more of a dusky rose than a magenta. Maybe it’s time to get my “real” camera out and see if I can get it right when another one blooms.
